Laser printers have become much more affordable over the last couple of years. Once used mainly in offices, many consumers now have laser printers in their home offices. Lasers offer an attractive cost per page vs an inkjet printer, and you don’t have to worry about drying out issues that can occur with ink cartridges when you don’t use them on a regular basis. I considered the Brother MFC-J615W printer, which is pretty cost effective to run, but I decided that I wanted a laser printer so that I could print letters and other businesses documents while at home.
I came across the Samsung CLX-3185FW printer on sale for $199.00 and decided to give it a try.
